The Cisco UCS C240 M3 Rack Server is designed for both performance and expandability over a wide range of storage-intensive infrastructure workloads ranging from big data to collaboration. The enterprise-class Cisco UCS C240 M3 further extends the capabilities of the Cisco Unified Computing System portfolio in a 2-rack-unit (2 RU) form factor. And the addition of the Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 and E5-2600 v2 processor product families delivers an optimal combination of performance, flexibility, and efficiency gains. Config Notes

Floppy disks used on this system must be manually mounted. To do this, perform the following steps first: a) run "mknod /lib/udev/devices/fd0 b 2 0" b) add "/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,users,rw 0 0" to /etc/fstab, c) run command "mkdir /media/floppy", d) reboot. Thereafter, whenever a floppy is inserted, run command "mount /dev/fd0" to mount the floppy drive.
Power Management: System does not support standby.
Power management: Hibernation / Suspend to Disk / ACPI S4 is supported on this system.
Power Management: System/Processor supports throttling.
Power Management: System/Processor does not support dynamic CPU frequency scaling.
Desktop Effects: Graphics driver/adapter does not support desktop effects.
Install: PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network.
Maintenance update: SLED 11 SP2 maintenance kernel (3.0.34-0.7.9) is required to properly detect floppy drive medium. Kernel patch installed: kernel-default-base-3.0.34-0.7.9.i586.rpm and kernel-default-3.0.34-0.7.9.i586.rpm. The maintenance kernel rpms can be downloaded from http://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=S5dXSxMK3jQ
