Config Notes

Graphics: Graphics driver used in testing was obtained from http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html. C/C++ development environment (including kernel source) is required for driver install.
Network: NIC driver used in testing was obtained from http://forgeftp.novell.com/driver-process/pub/update/Broadcom/sle10sp2/common/x86_64.
Install: OS was installed from USB DVD.
Graphics: Once the nvidia driver has been loaded, the following steps must be used to enable Desktop Effects: 1) Add the line "G 10de:061c" to the "Supported NVIDIA cards" section of /etc/X11/xgl-hardware-list, 2) use YaST2->"Desktop Effects" to enable desktop effects, 3) change to init level 3 and use "startx" to manually start the desktop.
