The IBM® System x3630 M4 server offers a cost-effective high-capacity storage solution with exceptional energy-smart design, leadership virtualization, and powerful systems management. It supports the Intel® Xeon® processor and high-density memory designs with twelve DDR3 DIMM slots. This 2U server consolidates storage and server into one system, offers easy management, and saves floor space and power consumption, costing less money than traditional enterprise offerings. Config Notes

System was scaled up to 4-socket by joining two x880 X6 with 4S scalability connector.
Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: JBOD
Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
Maintenance updates: The Linux Kernel 136 (patch SUSE-SLE-SERVER-12-2015-21) updates were installed during certification testing.
SR-IOV/PCI Pass-through: Current system configuration does not support network SR-IOV or network PCI Pass-through.
