Product Description
The IBM® System x3650 M4 HD is a 2-socket 2U rack-optimized server. It supports a up to 32 internal drives and features an innovative design that delivers an optimal balance of performance, uptime, and dense storage. Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD two disks configured as RAID 0 and M.2 boot device with two SSDs configured as a RAID 1 device. The "Device model" selected for the SLES guest virtual network adapter during testing was e1000, instead of the default virtio.
Kdump (SLE15): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=233M,high crashkernel=132M,low using YaST.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.5.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 15 guest. One of the integrated Intel Ethernet Connection X722 for 1GbE adapters was used in this testing.
