Config Notes
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 15 FV guest. One of the Intel Integrated Ethernet Connection X722 for 1GbE adapters was used in this testing.
- Kdump (SLE15): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=236M,high crashkernel=132M,low using YaST.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.5.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
- Install: System installed using PXE network install; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD single disk RAID 0 and M.2 boot device configured with two SSDs in RAID 1.
