Product Description
The IBM® Flex System™ x222 Compute Node is a high-density dual-server offering that is designed for virtualization, dense cloud deployments, and hosted clients. The x222 has two independent servers in one mechanical package, which means that the x222 has a double-density design that allows up to 28 servers to be housed in a single 10U Flex System Enterprise Chassis.

Config Notes

Maintenance update: SLES 11 SP3 Xen maintenance update 8479 and xen kernel update 8525 x86-64 are required and were installed during certification testing.
Install: System installed using the BladeCenter chassis DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 0.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from SUSE at http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
