The AnyPlace Kiosk is designed to optimize the consumer experience across a broad range of market segments, including retail, travel, financial, government, healthcare and entertainment. In addition to supporting a global ecosystem of software applications, hardware options such as mounts, floor-standing enclosures and custom faceplates from IBM Business Partners also help tailor the system to your business needs and enhance brand perception. AnyPlace Kiosk carry's two different warranty periods; 31x for DEPOT and 33x for IOR (IBM on-site repair).

Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: JBOD
Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports.
System was scaled up to 8-socket by joining four x880 X6 with 8S scalability connector.
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameter was changed to crashkernel=256M for kdump to function correctly.
