Config Notes
- Install: OS Installed via USB CD/DVD Drive.
- Driver:The mpt2sas driver can be downloaded and installed when SLES is installed. To obtain the driver go to: http://www.lsi.com/downloads/Public/Host%20Bus%20Adapters/Host%20Bus%20Adapters%20Common%20Files/SAS_SATA_6G_P10/LinuxMPT_SAS2_RHEL5-6_SLES10-11_P10.zip
Unzip this zip file,find the mpt2sas-10.00.00.00-1-sles11sp1.x86_64.iso.gz in the path: LinuxMPT_SAS2_RHEL5-6_SLES10-11_P10\mpt2sas_rhel5_rel\mpt2sas-release\disks-1 ,decompress the gz and use the inside of the file "mpt2sas-10.00.00.00-1-sles11sp1.x86_64.iso" as a update disk in the following steps:
1 Boot from the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server installation media.
2 Press F6 to load the driver update after the boot menu appears, and select Yes ,then you are prompted to insert the update disk at the appropriate point in the installation process.
This driver is not PLDP compliant.
