Product Description
The ETERNUS LT60 S2 is an ultra compact LTO tape library with up to 48 media slots and up to four drives on four height units. The systems are connected via SAS, FibreChannel or SCSI interface to the server. The ETERNUS LT60 S2 magnetic tape systems family is optimized for low power consumption, the use of environmentally friendly materials, as well as high and easy scalability. The ETERNUS LT60 S2 is equipped with LTO technology, which is synonymous with high capacity, high speed and very low media costs. The tape library offers a storage capacity of 144 TB (LTO5 compressed) in just four height units. The base configuration includes 24 slots. Config Notes

Install: System installed using PXE network install; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD single disk RAID 0 and M.2 boot device configured with two SSDs in RAID 1.
Kdump (SLE15): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=236M,high crashkernel=132M,low using YaST.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.5.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 15 FV guest. One of the Intel Integrated Ethernet Connection X722 for 1GbE adapters was used in this testing.
