The NEC Express5800/R120d-2M, a scalable compact dual-socket 2U rack server built on the Intel® Xeon® E5-2643 processors, offers excellent performance, reliability, and energy savings. Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: RAID 0. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with and requires the following additional load parameters: dom0_mem=16G dom0_max_vcpus=8.
SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 15 SP1 FV guest. One of the Intel Ethernet Connection X722 for 10GbE SFP+ adapters was used in this testing.
Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports, system also has one built-in USB port.
