Product Description
Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 blade server is an enterprise-class platform. Featuring a balanced system architecture, it elimiated bottleneck in performance and throughput. Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 embedded logical partitioning feature supports uprecedented configuration flexibility. It extends the benefits of logical partitioning to new areas of the enterprise data center, including mission-critical application servers and database servers, with minimal cost and maximum simplicity. The X55-S3 model is a SAN boot only configuration.

Config Notes

Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The aacraid.ko used during testing is not SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the following driver package: aacraid-ueficert-SLES11-SP4-1.2.1-41043.x86_64.rpm(This rpm package should be installed first) and aacraid-kmp-default-SLES11-SP4-1.2.1-41043.x86_64.rpm. This driver package can be downloaded and installed after the SLES install. To obtain the driver go to: https://pmcs.com/myPMC/download.php?res_id=256261&filename=PM8060_PM8063_Linux_VMware_Driver_Release_B41043_256031.7z This driver can be accessed after registration and granted by PMC.
