Product Description
Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 blade server is an enterprise-class platform. Featuring a balanced system architecture, it eliminates bottlenecks in performance and throughput. Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 embedded logical partitioning feature supports flexible configurations. It extends the benefits of logical partitioning to new areas of the enterprise data center, including mission-critical application servers and database servers, with minimal cost and maximum simplicity.

Config Notes

Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The driver "hfcldd.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk (DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.22.4340.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.22.4340_4.12.14_94.41-1.2.sles12sp4.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347895.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
This is a SAN boot only system.
The Hitachi SAS 3004 iMR ROMB and local HDD (hard disk drives) are not supported on this configuration.
