Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: RAID 1.
- Kdump (SLE12SP3): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=199M,high crashkernel=142M,low using YaST.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe).
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to the SLES 12 SP3 FV guest. One of the internal Ethernet Controller I210-AT adapters was used for this testing.
