Product Description
The ETERNUS LT60 S2 is an ultra compact LTO tape library with up to 48 media slots and up to four drives on four height units. The systems are connected via SAS, FibreChannel or SCSI interface to the server. The ETERNUS LT60 S2 magnetic tape systems family is optimized for low power consumption, the use of environmentally friendly materials, as well as high and easy scalability. The ETERNUS LT60 S2 is equipped with LTO technology, which is synonymous with high capacity, high speed and very low media costs. The tape library offers a storage capacity of 144 TB (LTO5 compressed) in just four height units. The base configuration includes 24 slots. Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The driver htc-hfcldd.ko used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.11.18.3038_3.0.76_0.11-2.sles11sp3.x86_64.rpm". To obtain the driver package log onto : https://portal.hds.com. The Hitachi customer has to be a member of "HDS support portal"to access the driver for download. Driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
The be2net.ko is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the following DUD: elx-be2net_10.2.469.0-be2iscsi_10.2.473.0-lpfc_10.2.469.0-sles11sp3-1.iso on drivers.suse.com. This driver can be downloaded and installed during the SLES install.
