Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD one disk configured as RAID 0 and M.2 boot device with two SSDs configured as a RAID 0 device. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with and requires the following additional load parameters: dom0_mem=12G dom0_max_vcpus=8 (parameters are required, but specific values can be changed).
Kdump (SLE12SP3): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=182M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 12 SP3 FV guest. One of the internal ThinkSystem X710-DA2 10Gb SFP+ adapters was used in this testing.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe).
