Config Notes

Install: System installed using an external USB DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and elilo system configuration.
Hard disk configuration: JBOD
System was scaled up to 4-socket by joining two x880 X6 with 4S scalability connector.
6) SUSE Driver Kit: The ibm_x6-sle11sp3-x86_64 driver kit is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver kit was installed during the SLES install process as an initial bootable iso image. This driver must be downloaded and installed before the SLES install. To obtain the driver go to: http://drivers.suse.com/ibm/IBM-X6/sle11-sp3/install-readme.htm
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
Maintenance update: SLES 11 SP3 Xen maintenance update slessp3-xen-201310-8479 (bnc#836239) is required and was installed during certification testing.
Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters "dom0_mem=8G dom0_max_vcpus=8".
