Product Description
Oracle's Sun Server X3-2 (formerly Sun Fire X4170 M3), powered by two Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2690, offers performance balanced with compute, memory, and I/O capabilities in a compact energy-efficient 1U enclosure. The server is available in three flexible chassis configurations and offers superior scalability with terabytes of storage, four PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, and four 10GbE network interface ports. A versatile server for enterprise data centers that run a range of mission-critical business applications, the Sun Fire X4170 M3 server is ideal for running middleware and enterprise business application workloads and as a platform for application development.
