Product Description
Oracle's Sun Server X3-2L (formerly Sun Fire X4270 M3), powered by two Intel® Xeon® processors, the E5-2690, is the ideal system for clustered databases and virtualized business applications. This server uses a 2U enclosure and is available in three flexible chassis configurations, offering superior scalability with terabytes of storage and six PCIe 3.0 expansion slots. The four onboard 10 GbE ports provide ten times faster network throughput than 1 GbE ports and reduce cabling, increase data throughput and save PCIe slots for other peripherals. System performance and power efficiency are maximized with flash storage options that deliver high I/O performance and reduced energy consumption.
