Config Notes
- Install: System installed using PXE UEFI network install; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Tested as a 1-node scalable partition with 4 Compute Books. Hard disk configuration: RAID 6.
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=143M,high crashkernel=152M,low" using YaST.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.3.exe).
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 12 guest. One Intel X540 ML2 10GbaseT adapters were used in this testing.
