Product Description
The IBM surePOS 100 is an all-in-one system for small to mid-sized businesses that need the same reliability and performance from their point-of-sale as larger companies, and demand exceptional value. The space saving-saving POS delivers the power to run today's off-the-shelf and customized software applications for front-end and back-office functions, including checkout and inventory control. Yet, the energy-efficient processor helps reduce power consumption to help lower total cost of ownership. SurePOS 100 are available in two models, 108 (9" monochrome CRT) and 118 (10.4" active matrix color LCD).

Config Notes

Install: OS installed via USB DVD drive
Kernel: Only 64 GB of 144 GB of memory are recognized due to the 32-bit OS limitation for this submission.
The LAN driver used during testing was installed from the following rpms: intel-igb-1.3.19.3-1.i586.rpm and intel-igb-kmp-bigsmp-1.3.19.3_2.6.16.60_0.21-1.i586.rpm. These drivers can be downloaded and installed after the SLES install. To obtain the driver go to: http://forgeftp.novell.com/driver-process/pub/update/Intel/sle10sp2/ptf/common/i586/
