Product Description
These ultra compact kiosks combine an advanced intrared (IR) flat-panel touchscreen, an Intel® Celeron® M processor 350 (1.30 GHz), and optional peripherals in a slim space-saving design that is easy to place, like signage. Customers can choose from 12", 15" and 17" touch screen models or with volume control knob. Wireless connectivity can be added to the kiosk with an optional wireless module. AnyPlace Kiosks carry two different warranty periods; 13x for DEPOT and 1Zx for IOR (IBM on-site repair).

Config Notes

Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports.
Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: JBOD. System was scaled up to 8-socket by joining four x880 X6 with 8S scalability connector.
Kdump (SLE12SP2): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=163M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
SR-IOV/PCI Pass-through: Current system configuration does not support network SR-IOV or network PCI pass-through.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
