Product Description
IBM Flex System™ p24L Compute Node is a POWER7-based server optimized for virtualization, performance and extraordinary efficiency. The node supports Linux operating environments and is designed to run a wide variety of workloads in your PureFlex System.

Config Notes

Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
The driver "hfcldd.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk (DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.22.4340.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.22.4340_4.12.14_94.41-1.2.sles12sp4.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347895.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
This is a SAN boot only system.
The Hitachi SAS 3004 iMR ROMB and local HDD (hard disk drives) are not supported on this configuration.
