Config Notes
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=227M,high crashkernel=152M,low" using YaST.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.3.exe).
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to one of the SLES 12 guests. The Intel® PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server adapter was used for this testing.
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Drive Configuration: RAID 1. System was configured as 1-node scalable partition.
