Config Notes

Install: PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network.
Steps to install the "Sun Dual 10GbE SFP+ PCIe Express Module" 2a) set allow_unsupported_modules to "1" in /etc/modprobe.d/unsupported-modules 2b) Install ixgbe-2.0.44.14-1.sles11.x86_64.rpm. 2c) adding nox2apic in boot command line. 2d) add the following into /etc/modprobes.conf.local options ixgbe InterruptType:1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1
The ixgbe driver used during certification testing is included on the SUN Tools CD. This ixgbe driver is not PLDP compliant and is NOT supported by Novell.
