IGL 1700 ET is an entry level server built on Intel C204 Express chipset supporting one intel Xeon E3-1225 server processor in LGA 1155 socket, DDR3 UNBUFF ECC 1066/1333MHz memories with built in Intel C204 PCH, 2 SATA III ports, 4 SATA II ports, Two Gigabit Ethernet ports and 1*IPMI 2.0 Ethernet port.

Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: JBOD. System was scaled up to 8-sockets by joining four x880 X6 with 8S scalability connector.
- Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two additional USB ports.
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameter was changed to crashkernel=316M,high crashkernel=172M,low for kdump to function correctly.
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to one of the SLES 15 guests. One of the integrated 10GB Virtual Fabric Ethernet LOM adapters was used in this testing.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.5.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
