Product Description
The PSB 2HE Client is a particularly short workstation for installation into a control desk or standard rack. It excels with its energy efficiency, reliability, performance, easy handling and maintenance. With its AMD Opteron™ processor, the professional ATI FirePro V3800 multi-view display controller for 3D applications, sufficient memory and dual gigabit ethernet the system is the ideal hardware for CAD and DCC applications, while keeping space requirements low.

Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Tested as a 2-node scalable partition with 8 Compute Books. Hard disk configuration: RAID 1. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=10G dom0_max_vcpus=10. 64-bit guests were tested with a maximum memory configuration of 64GB.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
PCI Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the network adapter was given to the SLES 12 FV guests. One of the Intel I350-T ML2 GbE adapters was used in this testing.
