Product Description
The BL265LV provides high performance with support for the Intel® Xeon® processor, high-speed I/O, and support for high memory capacity and fast memory throughput. The BL265LV has improved performance over previous generation blades.

Config Notes

Install: System installed using external USB connected DVD drive; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where the network adapter was given to the SLES 11 SP2 x86-64 guest. One of the embedded Intel® Ethernet Controller I350-AM4 adapters was used in this testing.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP2 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2008 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.0.exe).
Integrated network: only two of the four ethernet adapters/ports on the I350-AM4 quad-port network controller are enabled on this system.
