Servidor Itautec MX224 is offering in rack mount 2U, and it is configured with the Intel(R) Xeon E5606 Processor with up to 288GB of DDR3 Registered ECC memory ram, 16 2.5”HDs SAS or SATA, 7 expansion slots card and redundant PS. With this strong combination of elements and structure add to high performance, the Servidor Itautec MX224 can run application which request high process capacity with confiability, such as critical mission.

Config Notes

PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to one of the SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 guests. The embedded, Intel® Ethernet Controller I350-AM4 (Quad Port), adapter was used during this testing.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
Maintenance update: SLES 11 SP3 Xen 8479 maintenance update (Patch: slessp3-xen-201310-8479) is required and was installed during certification testing.
Install: System installed using external USB connected DVD drive; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
