Product Description
The ETERNUS LT40 is an ultra compact LTO tape library with up to 24 media slots and up to two drives. The systems are connected via SAS or FibreChannel interface to the server. The ETERNUS LT40 magnetic tape systems family is optimized for low power consumption, the use of environmentally friendly materials, as well as high and easy scalability. The ETERNUS LT40 is equipped with LTO technology, which is synonymous with high capacity, high speed and very low media costs. The tape library offers a storage capacity of 72 TB (LTO5 compressed) in just two height units. The base configuration includes 12 slots. Because all 24 slots are already built in, the other 12 slots can be easily activated via a software license. For further information visit: http://ts.fujitsu.com/products/storage/tape/eternus/
