Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: RAID 0.
Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports.
Kdump (SLE12SP2): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=144M,high crashkernel=112M,low using YaST.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to one of the SLES 12 SP2 guests. The integrated Lenovo CN4052 2-port 10Gb Virtual Fabric adapter was used for this testing.
