Config Notes
- Driver: The megaraid_sas driver can be downloaded and installed when SLES is installed. To obtain the driver go to: http://www.lsi.com/downloads/Public/MegaRAID%20Common%20Files/5.40_Linux_Drivers.zip. Unzip this zip file, find the "megaraid_sas-v00.00.05.40-1-sles11-sp1-64bit.img" in the tgz file: components.tgz, decompress the tgz file and use the img file as a update disk in the following steps: 1) Boot from the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server installation media. 2) Press F6 to load the driver update after the boot menu appears, and select Yes, then you are prompted to insert the update disk at the appropriate point in the installation process.
This driver is not PLDP compliant.
