Config Notes

The driver "hfcldd.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk (DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.22.4334.iso" and the driver package htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.22.4334_4.4.73_7-1.sles12sp3.x86_64.rpm. To obtain DUD and the driver package, access to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347757.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
This is a SAN boot only system.
The Hitachi SAS 3004 iMR ROMB and local HDD (hard disk drives) are not supported on this configuration.
Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
Maintenance update: SLES12 SP3 kernel update "4.4.140-94.42.1" is required and was installed during certification testing (https://download.suse.com/Download?buildid=RFalUgbIh18~).
