Product Description

A fast, reliable, and expandable x64 blade server that runs SLES 11, the Sun Blade X6440 Server Module is a key component in standardizing your infrastructure, helping to lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and simplifying data center management, all without compromise. Powered by four AMD Opteron™ (quad-core) processors, up to 6 (x8) and 2 (x4) PCIe Interfaces, and up to 256GB of DDR2 system memory (when 8GB DIMMs are available), the Sun Blade X6440 Server Module provides the compute power and I/O expandability required to meet your needs now and into the future.

Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
