Product Description
The HP Integrity BL870c server blade introduces the latest generation HP Integrity capabilities to the BladeSystem c-Class customer. The HP Integrity BL870c server blade is a four socket full-height server blade featuring the latest Intel(R) Itanium(R) 9120 dual-core processor supported by up to 96GB memory (24 DIMM slots). The BL870c features four Gigabit Ethernet ports standard, support for three standard c-Class I/O mezzanine cards and up to four internal SFF SAS hot plug disk drives. The HP Integrity BL870c server blade coexists with ProLiant server blades and StorageWorks storage blades within the c-Class enclosure.

Config Notes

Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports. The system also has one internal USB port.
Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: separate RAID 0 drives.
Kdump (SLE12SP1): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=167M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
