- PLDP network driver: The PLDP Driver ixgbe.ko was installed and tested on 4 Intel X540-AT2 10 Gb ethernet controllers. The driver can be downloaded from http://drivers.suse.com/driver-process/pub/update/Intel/sle11sp1/common/x86_64/intel-ixgbe-3.7.14-1.x86_64.rpm and http://drivers.suse.com/driver-process/pub/update/Intel/sle11sp1/common/x86_64/intel-ixgbe-kmp-default-3.7.14_2.6.32.12_0.7-1.x86_64.rpm and http://drivers.suse.com/driver-process/pub/update/Intel/sle11sp1/common/x86_64/intel-ixgbe-kmp-xen-3.7.14_2.6.32.12_0.7-1.x86_64.rpm
- Serial port: General purpose serial port functionality is not provided by the hardware. Therefore the serial port is supported only for accessing the ILOM and the serial port certification test has been waived.
- Install: An ISO image of the SLES11sp1 Install Media was used to install the Operating System via Virtual DVD-ROM device.
