Config Notes
- Kdump (SLE11SP4): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=512M-:256M using YaST.
- Install: System installed using an external USB DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD two disks configured as RAID 0 and M.2 boot device with two SSDs configured as a RAID 1 device.
- Installation Kit: The lenovo_servers_thinksystem-sle11sp4-x86_64-2.1.iso installation kit is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. This installation kit must be downloaded and used to start the SLES installation. To obtain the installation kit go to: https://drivers.suse.com/lenovo/Lenovo-ThinkSystem/sle-11-sp4-x86_64/2.1/install-readme.html.
