Config Notes
- Install: System installed using an internal DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
- Kdump (SLE12SP1): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=512M,high crashkernel=256M,low using YaST.
- Serial port: The serial port is for system development purposes and not general user access. It was not tested during certification and therefore is not supported.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2008 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to one of the SLES 12 SP1 x86-64 guests. One of the Intel Ethernet Server Adapter I340-T2 was used during this testing.
