Product Description
GR160 F1 1U 2P server includes both Gateway and Acer brand models, with system product names: Gateway GR160 F1, Acer AR160 F1. The 1U 2P system include up to 4 hotswap SATA HDDs, 12 DDR3 DIMM slots. One PCIEx16 Gen2 slot, One PCIEx8 Flex I/O slot,and one PCIEx8 Gen2 slot. Dual onboard gigabit Ethernet controllers, Six onboard SATA port, One 720W fixed PSU.

Config Notes

Power management: Hibernation/Suspend to Disk/ACPI S4 is NOT supported on this system.
Power management: System/Processor does NOT support fan thermal scaling.
Graphics: Video driver used in testing was downloaded from http://www.hp.com/support/workstations. Video driver is not SolidDriver-compliant and requires installation of kernel source and development tools.
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameter was changed to 256 (crashkernel=512M-:256M) for kdump to function correctly.
System was tested with an Intel I210-T1 added as a second network adapter. The standard system configuration does not include the I210-T1 adapter.
