Config Notes

Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports. The system also has one internal USB port. Hard disk configuration: RAID 1.
Kdump (SLE12SP2): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=142M,high crashkernel=102M,low using YaST.
Installation Kit: The lenovo_servers_thinksystem-sle12sp2-x86_64-1.0.iso installation kit is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. This installation kit must be downloaded and used to start the SLES installation. To obtain the installation kit go to: https://drivers.suse.com/lenovo/Lenovo-ThinkSystem/sle-12-sp2-x86_64/1.0/.
SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 12 SP2 guest. One of the integrated Ethernet Connection X722 (Dual-Port) for 10GBASE-T adapters was used in this testing.
