Config Notes
- The native kernel driver (r8169.ko) for the Realtek RTL8111D causes a kernel panic on this system. System workaround: Disable the LAN adapter through the BIOS by doing the following: Press F2 to enter BIOS during POST --> select "Advanced" --> select "Peripheral Configuration" --> select "On-board LAN": Change to "Disable" to turn-off the LAN adpater. Reboot the system. Perform normal install of Novell SLED; LAN will not install. From another system download the updated realtek-r8169 RPM available at: http://forgeftp.novell.com/driver-process/pub/update/realtek/sle10sp2/common/i586/ realtek-r8169-kmp-default-8.004.00_2.6.16.60_0.21-0.i586.rpm. Install the RPM using the Open with "Install Software" option (right-click on RPM) or from the command-line. Reboot the system and enter the BIOS to re-enable the LAN. Boot the system and configure the network connection parameters as necessary.
- Desktop Effects: Graphics driver/adapter does not support desktop effects
- Power management: Hibernation / Suspend to Disk / ACPI S4 is supported on this system.
- Power Management: System/Processor does not support throttling.
