Gemini 1U dual-node server with system product names: Acer AW1000-AW170 F1, Acer AW1000-AW170d F1, Acer AW1000-AW170q F1. System includes up to 2 nodes, with dual CPU sockets, 12 DDR3 DIMM slots. One PCIEx16 Gen2 slot and dual onboard gigabit Ethernet controllers with Intel® I/O Acceleration Technology 2 (IOAT 2), VT-d and iSCSI boot and integrated BMC management feature.

Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 0.
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=153M,high crashkernel=112M,low" using YaST.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.3.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing. SR-IOV/PCI Pass-through: Current system configuration does not support network SR-IOV or network PCI pass-through.
