Product Description
The IBM System x3350 is a single-socket commercial application server that provides outstanding reliability, availability and serviceability features, management control and levels of performance previously available only with dual-processor systems. 1U form factor, flexible storage options—simple-swap or hot-swap, SAS hard disk drives.

Config Notes

Kdump: Yast2 - Kernel kdump - kdump memory was increased from 128 to 256 MB for kdump to function.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2008 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe)
Install: System installed using the internal DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
System was configured as 1-node scalable partition.
Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=5G dom0_max_vcpus=4.
