Product Description
The HP ProLiant DL785-G6 is an 8 socket x86 server, supporting up to eight(8) Six-Core AMD Opteron(tm) processors, 512GB of memory, 11 PCI-e I/O slots or an optional I/O backplane with 7 PCI-e & 2 HTx I/O slots.

Config Notes

Install: System installed using the external USB DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports. The system also has one internal USB port.
Maintenance update: SLES 11 SP3 Xen maintenance update 8063 and xen kernel update 8270 x86-64 are required and were installed during certification testing.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
