Product Description
EMC PowerPath is a server-resident solution that enhances performance and application availability. It automatically tunes the storage area network (SAN) when it detects imbalances by selecting alternate paths for the data to be routed through. It also combines multiple path I/O capabilities, automatic load balancing, and path failover functions into one integrated package. Config Notes

PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to one of the SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 guests. One adapter in the embedded I350-T4 ML2 Quad Port GbE was used during this testing.
Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameter in the elilo.conf file was changed from 128 to 256 (crashkernel=512M-:256M) for kdump to function correctly.
VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
Install: System installed using an external USB DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and elilo system configuration.
