Config Notes
- Kdump (SLE12SP3): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=177M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
- Install: System installed using PXE network install; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: HDD two disk RAID 0 and M.2 boot device two disk RAID 1.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 12 SP3 guest. One of the internal X550-T2 10GBase-T adapters was used in this testing.
