The latest technology for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 7 is now available as FTP download or on CD, enabling companies to benefit of the latest innovations in Linux development.

  • Optimized kernel 2.4.18 with support for Intel's new Foster hardware and many drivers for the latest RAID, SCSI, and network devices
  • Samba 2.2.4 with a central print spooling system for setting up a file and print server for Windows clients
  • As a file and print server, Netatalk 1.5.1.1 now also supports MAC OS X
  • Apache 1.3.24 with additional HTTP/web server functionalities
  • mtx tape driver enables backups with multiple tape drives
  • FreeSWAN 1.95 provides additional security
