This chapter describes SLMS configuration files, their valid options, and possible values.
SLMS uses the following configuration files: /etc/slms.conf, /etc/slms-secrets.conf, and /etc/slms-cc.conf. While /etc/slms.conf contains options affecting general server behavior, /etc/slms-secrets.conf stores more sensitive personal and network data, and /etc/slms-cc.conf includes information related to the SLMS customer center.
SLMS configuration files are stored in an INI file format. They are divided into several logical sections. Each section begins with a label enclosed in square brackets, and ends either before the next section starts, or at the end of the file. The option name is always followed by = and the value. Lines starting with a semicolon usually are comments. They are ignored and not processed.
