Jan 12 15:15:49 xxdevmon spacewalk-startup-helper[24243]: Database version '' is not supported for SUSE Manager/Uyuni on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP2. Perform database migration.

Resolution

Set the correct database password into /etc/rhn/rhn.conf and verify that by running:
somehostname:~ # echo "show server_version;" | spacewalk-sql --select-mode -
 server_version
----------------
 12.5
(1 row)

Cause

Database password (db_password) in /etc/rhn/rhn.conf is not correct. You can verify that the password for susemanager user is correct by running:
echo "show server_version;" | spacewalk-sql --select-mode -
