The latest technology for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 7 is now available as FTP download or on CD, enabling companies to benefit of the latest innovations in Linux development.

- Optimized kernel 2.4.18 with support for Intel's new Foster hardware and many drivers for the latest RAID, SCSI, and network devices
- Samba 2.2.4 with a central print spooling system for setting up a file and print server for Windows clients
- As a file and print server, Netatalk 188.8.131.52 now also supports MAC OS X
- Apache 1.3.24 with additional HTTP/web server functionalities
- mtx tape driver enables backups with multiple tape drives
- FreeSWAN 1.95 provides additional security
