After six months of successful operation, the SUSE Linux Knowledge Portal is about to be transformed into an independent Linux Portal.

After six months of successful operation, the SUSE Linux Knowledge Portal is about to be transformed into an independent Linux Portal. This way, SUSE Linux AG provides the Linux community with an entirely bilingual knowledge portal with a wealth of various info channels, individually configurable access possibilities, and a flexible full-text search engine.
The Portal will be maintained by the "father" of the SUSE Portal,Frank Rennemann, Ph.D., in a slightly modified form. The URLs http://portal.suse.de ,http://portal.suse.co.uk, and www.novell.com/linux/suse/portal/ will continue to be a competent source of information around Linux in German and English.
