Install RPM Programs in SLES 10 from WWW

Hi friends, if you do not have CDs for SLES 10 and you need to install some programs, you should configure your repository for download rpm.

  • First execute YaST
  • Choose Software and Installation Source
  • Choose Add
  • Choose HTTP, and write in server “demeter.uni-regensburg.de”, Directory Server write “/SLES10-x86″ and then click OK
  • That’s all

Now you can install rpm programs without a CD.
